Fortnite Season 7 has finally commenced, bringing with it a winter wonderland! The iceberg has reached the island, transforming the map in huge unexpected ways. Now, we have evidence that even bigger changes are ahead. One player has discovered the existence of an entire Fortnite iceberg village!
An Amazing Glitch Has Given Us a Glimpse of the Fortnite Iceberg Village
u/UmbreonYT on Reddit shared this amazing video in a post titled, “I glitched inside Polar Peak (in replay).”
He captioned the video with, “Hmm… Looks like it’s not only a castle… But a “whole” village.”
Much of the video is spent roaming around the castle, but eventually, u/UmbreonYT heads outside and shows us some other buildings around the castle including some houses containing chests.
There is currently no way to access the castle or the surrounding structures during regular game play. But it looks like a lot of work has gone into making this area. Eventually, it should be open for exploration.
Will that happen as part of Season 7’s wintry action, or will we have to wait for all that ice to thaw and run off into the ocean before the structures are revealed? We currently have no idea. We also do not know for sure whether what we have seen is a glimpse of the finished village, or whether there are more structures and features still to add before it is complete.
