Fortnite’s Christmas-themed event “14 Days of Fortnite” will only last for a couple of more days before it leaves the game. It’s the first time that Epic Games is giving out a lot of free in-game items to its players. Still, players need to complete bite-sized tasks before they are rewarded with free items. Most of these rewards are winter-themed and immortalize the seventh season of the game.
14 Days Of Fortnite Day 11: Challenge and Reward
Today is the 11th day of “14 Days of Fortnite” and it brings a very easy challenge with it. In today’s challenge, players have to “Thank the Bus Driver” 11 times. While the task is easy to perform, you still have to play at least 11 matches before you can complete the challenge. This is one of the features that were added to Fortnite because a lot of fans requested it.
The Bus Driver, who takes 100 players to the Battle Royale island in each match, should be thanked. On PC, you can thank the Bus Driver by pressing “B” (default controls) and, on consoles, you have to press “down” on D-Pad to thank the Bus Driver. You can do it as soon as the match starts before you jump out of the Bus.
The reward for today’s challenge is a harvesting tool called “Frozen Pickaxe.” It is a winter variant of the classic Crimson Axe that belongs to the same cosmetic set as the Red Knight outfit. If you own the Frozen Legends bundle, then you should definitely unlock this pickaxe and complete the set.
Lastly, Close Encounters (Teams of 50) and Wild West are today’s new LTMs. The new version of Close Encounters pits two teams of 50 players against each other. Shotguns and Dynamites are the only weapons available in this mode. The Wild West mode is a Squad Game Mode with a limited set of weapons and no potions.

There are only a couple of days left until “14 Days of Fortnite” leaves the game. It means that the free rewards will also go away once the event is over. So if you haven’t finished them already, you should quickly complete them.
