200-Player Mode Added for a Limited Time to Call of Duty: Warzone

Following the game’s latest update, Infinity Ward has enabled another limited-time game mode in Call of Duty: Warzone. This time, that mode is a massive 200-player battle royale mode, allowing no less than 50 teams of 4 players to go head-to-head in Verdansk.

The New 200-Player Warzone Battle Royale Mode

The new 200-player battle royale mode which is now available to play in Call of Duty: Warzone was added by the recent Season Four Reloaded patch. That patch added new Season 4 content to both Modern Warfare and Warzone, such as the new Rytec AMR weapon. In Warzone’s case, the game got this chaotic new game mode which dramatically increases the number of active players in a match.

Call of Duty Warzone Battle Royale 200-Player Mode 2

200-player battle royale wasn’t the only addition for Warzone in the Season 4 Reloaded patch, however. The new update also introduced Supply Run Contacts to the game. When you activate one of these Contacts, you’ll be sent to a nearby Buy Station. If you reach the Station within the allotted time, you’ll get a discount on all your purchases. Furthermore, the Juggernaut Royale mode is still available to play, featuring Juggernaut armour dropped via care packages. Finally, the patch also added the new Spotter Scope item to the game. This is a re-usable and very powerful scope which allows you to scan the environment and mark your targets without being detected. (As it has no glint.)

Of course, this new game mode is a temporary addition to Call of Duty: Warzone. It’s currently unknown how long the mode will be available to play for. However, there are reportedly additional new game modes coming to Warzone later in Season 4. As such, this new mode may only be available for a couple of weeks, if not less. Players wanting to get a taste of the 200-player action should give the mode a try sooner rather than later.
