3v3 Gunfight Snipers & More Coming to Black Ops Cold War Tomorrow
Next week, Treyarch will be launching Firebase Z, the next new map for Black Ops Cold War’s Zombies mode. However, between the recent Mid-Season Update and Firebase Z, there is still new content coming to the game, and the next update is due to launch tomorrow, on the 28th of January.
3v3 Gunfight Snipers & New Store Bundles
The headline feature of tomorrow’s Black Ops Cold War update is an all-new game mode; 3v3 Gunfight Snipers. This Gunfight variant mode builds on the 3v3 Gunfight mode which already exists with purely sniper weapons available. In this mode, two three-player teams spawn into the match with random sniper loadouts. As per usual, the first team to win six rounds will win the match. Of course, the challenge of using snipers on the smaller Gunfight maps may be more significant than in Snipers-Only variants of other modes. At launch, the mode will be available for the Game Show, ICBM, KGB, and U-Bahn maps.
Also coming on the 28th are two new store bundles; Deadly Grip and Tracer Pack Rouge. The former, for the NATO Operator Sims, features two new Legendary Blueprints. The first of these is the “Mahogany”; this Milano 821 comes with a 45 Rnd Drum magazine, greatly increasing its ammo capacity. The other is the “Chestnut,” which is a Blueprint for the Hauer 77. The bundle also includes the Covert Operator skin for Sims, as well as two Epic Stickers, a Legendary Emblem, and a Finishing Move.
Tracer Pack Rouge, meanwhile, is designed for Portnova of the Warsaw Pact. Like Deadly Grip, this bundle includes two Legendary Blueprints. The “Widowmaker” is a mobile and highly accurate SMG, ideal for quick, mid-range engagements. The “Entanglement,” meanwhile, ia a powerful tactical rifle. This bundle also comes with the Shadow Operator skin for Portova, as well as a Weapon Charm and Emblem.
