You can play new EA releases before they release, have a 10% discount on Origin and give you special deals and free games to keep from time to time. Regarding the Battlefield franchise, Origin Access has four different titles for you to try on the platform, along with other big franchises like FIFA and Need for Speed.
Here are the Battlefield Origin Access Games available through the service right now (information provided by Wikipedia):
Battlefield 3
It is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It is a direct sequel to 2005’s Battlefield 2, and the eleventh installment in the Battlefield franchise. The game sold 5 million copies in its first week of release, and received positive reviews from most game reviewers. The campaign takes place in various locations, including Iran and New York City; and follows the stories of Sergeant Henry Blackburn and Dimitri Mayakovsky.
Battlefield 1
Battlefield 1 is the fifteenth installment in the Battlefield series and the first main entry in the series since Battlefield 4. It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 21, 2016. This title is still popular up to this day, since its the last Battlefield title to be released before Battlefield V that releases this October.
Battlefield Hardline
This title was released in March 2015 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Unlike the previous games in the Battlefield series, Hardline focuses on crime, heist and policing elements instead of military warfare. It’s also the last Battlefield title to be released on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
Battlefield 4
It is a sequel to 2011’s Battlefield 3 and was released in October 2013 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360; then later in November for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Battlefield 4 was praised for its multiplayer mode, gameplay and graphics, but was also criticized for its short and shallow single-player campaign mode, and for its numerous bugs and glitches. It was a commercial success, selling over 7 million copies.
This sums up the Battlefield Origin Access titles that are available on the service right now for PC. Battlefield V will not be included in this tier of Origin Access but it will instead be available on an “Elite” tier along with other big EA future releases like Anthem and FIFA 19.
