There Will Probably Not Be Any DOOM Eternal Reveal During Gamescom
Many of you are wondering about this year’s Gamescom, and Bethesda’s plans to showcase DOOM Eternal. There is no information as to whether Bethesda will even attend Gamescom. However, it has been confirmed that the company will showcase DOOM Eternal’s gameplay during QuakeCon for sure.
The short DOOM Eternal teaser trailer was revealed during the E3 2018 convention. Bethesda did not disclose any information regarding the next title in the DOOM franchise. Nevertheless, they were clear about telling us more about the game during this August’s QuakeCon, which they will definitely be attending.
The upcoming Gamescom 2018 is only a few days away. Many fans have been speculating that Bethesda might be there to show more of the next DOOM title. However, Bethesda has not confirmed anything regarding Gamescom. They have not even announced their mere presence there. Of course, Bethesda might attend Gamescom, but if they were to showcase anything from any of their franchises, they would have informed their fans.
Additionally, they have confirmed their presence at this year’s QuakeCon where they will also showcase DOOM Eternal’s gameplay. Watching the teaser trailer of the game, we got some information regarding it. However, they still have more to showcase for sure. QuakeCon is only a few days away, starting on August 9 and closing on August 12.
Hopefully, we will get a full gameplay trailer that will most probably be like the previous DOOM titles. Moreover, a hint at its storyline would be great as well. We already know that it will be Hell coming on Earth. That is something the fans have been anticipating for quite some time. Nevertheless, there are no rumors regarding its story and how did Doomguy end up on Earth in the first place. Stay tuned during this year’s QuakeCon, and you will most likely find out more.
