Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Update 1.51 Brings More Quests and a New Rare Blade

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 update 1.51 is coming out very soon on Nintendo Switch for players in Japan. A release date hasn’t been announced for Western versions of the update, but we suspect it should be tomorrow as well or soon thereafter. The update brings with it more quests, your basic patch changes, and, of course, a new rare Blade for players to acquire.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 update 1.51 marks the final set of expansion pass DLC quests for players to partake in. This is the fourth and final set of additional content quests that came included for free with the expansion DLC pass that players can purchase. There are a total of five additional quests in this final wave that players can take on.

You can find the full list of the final quests for the expansion pass below that are releasing with Xenoblade Chronicles 2 update 1.51, courtesy of Siliconera.

  • Booster’s Sunken Ship: (Available after Chapter 3)
  • The Popular Pastry Chef: (Available after Chapter 8, must have Rare Blades Gorg and Boreas.)
  • Master Craftsman’s Accessory: (Available after Chapter 7)
  • Hot Spring Vacation In Mor Ardain: (Available after Chapter 10, must have Rare Blades Sheba, Kora, and Kasandra with Lv. 3 One Lucky Gal.)
  • Mysterious Activation Code: (Available after Chapter 10, must have Rare Blade Adenine with Extra-Ancient Wisdom Lv. 5.)

In addition to those five additional quests included with the expansion pass, there is a brand new rare Blade for players to collect in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 update 1.51. Her Japanese name is Hibana so given Nintendo of America’s previous translation choices, this name may not be the English one.

Hibana is a fire elemental Blade who is designed by the writer and illustrator of the Non Non Biyori manga series. The Xenoblade Chronicles 2 update 1.51 launches tomorrow in Japan. While we wait for the update to arrive, check out why the Xenoblade developer’s profits were down recently.
