You Can Jump Into PUBG’s Desert Map Miramar This Week on Xbox One

Looking to get started with PUBG’s new desert map Miramar but relegated to playing on Xbox One? Worry no more, as you’ll soon be able to play the new map on your console in the near future. Though PC players have been able to frolic in the desert sands since December, Xbox One fans have been left out to dry this whole time. That’s all coming to an end, however, as PUBG is bringing the game to test servers tomorrow, with the Xbox One version of the map projected to join the finished game next month.

You can even try and test the map out if you fancy doing so, by going to the Xbox Store and downloading the PUBG Test Server client. It’ll be available beginning tomorrow, April 24, at 12 AM PDT. Once you have it downloaded, you can hop on PUBG’s test servers much like the PC version’s PTR, and start trying out Miramar. Testing periods will run between six 12-hour windows that start on April 25 from 5 PM PDT to 11 PM PDT, repeating from there. During the weekend, there will be several twelve-hour testing windows that start at 11 AM PDT and end at 11 PM PDT, so there are tons of opportunities for you to try the map out.

Keep in mind that things may be a bit unstable as you try and get your chicken dinner while frolicking in the new map, but that’s what these types of testing periods are for, after all. Bluehole has also made sure to warn folks that servers can go down at any time while playing for maintenance to occur, but that’s a risk you’ll have to be willing to take if you want to get your PUBG on. You’ll have a good head up on the other players who choose not to test for when the game launches next month — every second of practice still counts!
