World of Tanks: Update 1.1 Launched With A Set Of New Content

Wargaming has launched the promised Update 1.1 in World of Tanks that you can now begin to test. The update is bringing much new content and improvements. New Personal Missions, the Polish tanks you have been waiting for and the new maps are now live in-game. The update is also bringing some minor changes which you may already know about.

The Second Front is the new campaign of Personal Missions. It is the second set of Personal Missions, and they are based on the same principles as the first set. Every time you win the Front, you will receive more and more rewards. All players are eligible to play the Second Front even if they have not completed the first campaign. However, the conditions have now changed. Each set has its own requirements.

  • 1st operation—Persistence
  • 2nd operation—Skill in one battle
  • 3rd operation—Consistently good results over several battles

Tank classes are also eligible to play these missions even though that was not the case in the first set of tasks. The rewards are brand-new vehicles that you would want to add to your collection. The Excalibur, the Chimera, and the Obj. 279E are the three vehicles you will get from the Second Front.

However, new maps have also launched along with Update 1.1. The Studzianki map is finally here for players to explore along with the Minsk map you all have been waiting for. Of course, there have also been some minor changes to the existing maps of the game that had to be done.

Furthermore, Update 1.1 is bringing Polish vehicles. Ten new Polish tanks have been launched in World of Tanks and are ready for you to try out. They are all designs that never made it to the war, but are very powerful and fun to play. You can now begin testing the new Update and giving feedback to Wargaming. They will review it and make additional changes to the game so that there will not be any issues in the future.
