New Fallout 4 Mod Allows Players to Honor Todd Howard

A new mod has been released for Fallout 4 which, though it’s certainly not very large, might be the best mod in recent years. Any long-term fan of Bethesda and their games should recognize the worth of this mod at once. The new Fallout 4 mod allows players to build statues of Bethesda director Todd Howard in their settlements. Finally, players can honor him as the hero that he evidently deserves to be recognized as.

General Todd Howard of Bethesda Hill

The mod, created by Wanaming0 and entitled; “General Todd Howard Statue”, allows players to build a statue of the veteran director in Fallout 4. “General Todd Howard,” states the mod description; “hero of the battle of Bethesda Hill, was one of the bravest men in US history. So brave, in fact, that he was immortalized forever as a bronze statue, for people to look up to and follow the example.”

The Mod Also Replaces Existing Statues in Fallout 4 With Those of Todd Howard

The mod adds two versions of the impressive statue to the game; a standard version and one that “glows in the [censored] dark”; in homage to Howard’s comments during Bethesda’s 2018 E3 presentation. An optional setting in the mod allows players to replace the Minutemen statue near the Red Rock settlement. In addition, if you apply these discover-able statues, you can also find a new unique baseball bat at one of them. This weapon, called “The Chess Clubber,” adds bleeding damage and stagger to each hit. In addition, players can find “Praying Chant” notes near the statues. These notes simply read “It just works” over and over again.

Prayer Chanting Notes Can be Found Near the Statues

While there may be plenty of impressive and massive mod projects around for Fallout 4, this mod should certainly be categorized as one of the best; and indeed, a must-have for any true Bethesda fan. What better way to enhance your settlements than with one of these magnificent statues?
