Undertale fans will be happy to know that they can finally play this cult classic RPG on Nintendo Switch when it arrives next month in September. A specific worldwide release date hasn’t been given but we do know that the Japanese version will release on September 15 so expect it soon after that. Alongside the release month announcement, pre-orders for the physical version of the game is available right now.
We recommend you hop on nabbing yourself a physical copy of Undertale immediately in case the pre-orders go out of stock before the game releases next month. You can purchase the standard edition of the RPG for $29 USD on Fangamer. In addition, there is an exclusive Fangamer special collector’s edition that is only available from the retailer for $69.
This was previously made available on the website for the release of Undertale on PS4, PC, and PlayStation Vita. That same collector’s edition is available for pre-order right now for Nintendo Switch. It comes with the complete official soundtrack with over 100 tracks spread across two different CD’s, a sheet music booklet, a 14k gold-plated brass music box locket, collector’s box, and the standard edition of the indie classic.
In addition, the Undertale Nintendo Switch collector’s edition will feature an exclusive new slipcase. We recommend you pre-order your physical copy as soon as possible so that you don’t have to worry about the game running out ahead of its release date. Players won’t have to wait much longer to check it out on Switch since it releases in September.
In the meantime, while we wait for the highly anticipated release of Undertale on Nintendo Switch, check out some other Switch RPG’s coming soon like Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee! and RPG Maker MV, the latter of which can be used to make your very own RPG’s.
