Redditor Predicts Fortnite Meteor Will Hit Dusty Depot Instead of Tilted Towers

Industry insiders are something of a myth when it comes to some games, but it looks like Redditor “internetadam” may have predicted some of Fortnite’s biggest reveals over the last few weeks, starting with the fact that he could very well have correctly predicted “emergency warnings” as well as the signs up on Tilted Towers’ rooftops.

Now he’s back at it again on Reddit with a list of claims that appear to be spoilers for Season 4 and everything that comes with it. It’s a tumultuous time for Fortnite fans, so anyone will say anything to get attention online, but since internetadam had previously proven there was some veracity to his claims, it may be a good idea to take what he says and give it a little more attention — it could very well be true!

The leaker’s claims are as follows:

  • “The meteor will be hitting Dusty Depot, and NOT Tilted Towers as so many believe. Epic has thought this area of the map has needed an update for a long time.
  • The map will always be evolving. The map will be updated WEEKLY in Season 4. Epic feels like they had a wasted opportunity with Tilted Towers going up all at once. They would rather have had bulldozers & a few raising cranes one week, then one building go up the next week, two buildings the following week, etc.
  • Moisty Mire will be gone by the end of Season 4.
  • The Season 4 Battle Pass is all Supehero-themed. There will be superhero skins and villain skins (at least 2 of each). They aren’t from Marvel or DC, just Epic’s own characters.”

These are some pretty interesting claims, and if they do end up being true, they’d blow any of the whole Tilted Towers theories out of the water in a big way. No one has talked about seeing Dusty Depot going anywhere, as Tilted Towers seems to be the one in the line of fire. Dusty Depot and Moisty Mire being removed or revamped in some way would change things up considerably.

Also, it’s not totally unexpected now that Season 4 will indeed feature a superhero theme, as Epic Games seems to have been sharing things like that with us over the past week or so already. That’s why it seems as though this particular Redditor could know a thing or two, with some information we may need to heed.

There’s no telling what’s in store, and Epic is doing an admirable job of keeping things under wraps, making sure players are keeping their eyes tuned to social media. Whatever happens next, we’ll bring you the updates as they happen. Tilted Towers could still fall, and we’ve gotta be around to report on it.
