Xbox Games With Gold September 2018 Lineup Revealed

Microsoft has unveiled the lineup of free games that will be available to Xbox Live Gold subscribers during the month of September, 2018. As usual there are four games in total, two for Xbox One and two for Xbox 360, and Xbox One owners essentially gain access to all four games since both of the Xbox 360 titles are also backwards compatible.

September's Games with Gold offerings will arrive shortly.

On Xbox One, subscribers will be able to pick up the simulation title Prison Architect in which they design, build, and run their own penitentiary, and Livelock, a sci-fi top-down shooter that can be played either solo or with up to two other friends in three-player co-op. Over on Xbox 360, players can journey to a more cutesy version of a galaxy far, far away courtesy of Lego Star Wars 3, and they can also tap into their nostalgia via the Sega Vintage Collection: Monster World which contains three classic Sega games in one package.

Below, you’ll find the exact dates during which each of the September, 2018 Games with Gold titles are available:

  • Prison Architect – Sep. 1-30
  • Livelock – Sep. 16-Oct. 15
  • Lego Star Wars 3 – Sep. 1-15
  • Sega Vintage Collection: Monster World – Sep. 16-30

There’s also still time to grab a few of the Xbox Games with Gold August, 2018 offerings which include Ubisoft’s medieval brawler For Honor and the Microsoft-exclusive racing title Forza Horizon 2.

If you don’t yet have an Xbox One console of your own, Microsoft recently unveiled its new Xbox All Access plan which allows subscribers to utilize an Xbox One console, Xbox Live Gold, and Xbox Game Pass for a small monthly subscription fee. Once the subscription is paid off, users get to keep the Xbox One hardware they paid for, making Xbox All Access a great deal for potential users who can afford smaller monthly payments but who don’t want plunk down several hundred dollars all at once.
