CardLife, the creative survival game from the FreeJam studios will be making its way to Steam’s Early Access this October 9th. CardLife Early Access allows players to jump right in and have fun in a world that is made entirely from cardboard, even going as far as letting you create almost anything you want thanks to the connect the dot system. What’s more, the multiplayer survival game is pay upfront, meaning you won’t need to pay for anything else before playing.
The announcement of a release this October 9th comes from an all-new trailer, which you can watch for yourselves. In the trailer, you’ll see just how big the world of CardLife is, as well as show off what you can do with friends as you battle against monsters that are both modern and pre-historic. But for those who want to just know more about the creative side? Then you’re going to love the new trailer too for its look on the connect the dot system, as well as the variety of tools you can use to create the utopia you’ve all dreamed of.

In other CardLife news, we had the privilege of speaking to Communication Manager Andy Griffiths during EGX 2018 about CardLife’s journey, as well as what made it so different from other games out there. Not only did we get why CardLife is unique, but what makes FreeJam studios stand out from other studios.
“We’re different to other studios that we release things really, really early.” Griffiths told us, “we believe that when you’re developing something there’s no point carrying it on until you know it’s going to be a success until you know what people like about it.”
