Did you have fun during the September Chicorita Pokemon GO Community Day?
Niantic has another one coming right up, this time featuring the fan-favorite Beldum. If you had a hard time evolving Beldum up to its final Metagross form until now, this is your time so stack up your Pokeballs and go catch them all.
The October Pokemon GO Community Day starts at October 21st, letting you get your hands on one of the most powerful defensive Pokemon in the game, Metagross. The starting hours for the event have been announced for all regions and include a couple of bonus rewards as well. Here is the timetable:
North America
- 11 AM – 2 PM PT
- 2 PM – 5 PM ET
Europe, Middle East, and Africa
- 10 AM – 1 PM BST
- 9 AM – 12 PM UTC
Asia-Pacific
- 12 PM – 3 PM JST
Apart from the higher encounter rate for Beldum, the October Pokemon GO Community Day will include 1/4 egg hatch distances, which means that if you have a 10khm egg that you want to hatch, it only requires you to walk 2.5khm and so on.
3-hour Lures will also be activated so if you have any just waiting in storage, now’s a good time for you to use them in a 2-3 Pokestop spot.
Now pay close attention to tis tiny bit of information we have from Niantic. If you evolve Metang up to one hour after the Pokemon GO Community Day, it will lear special move. Interesting right?
So, all you have to do it stack up Pokeballs, put on your training shoes and move around your city for a bit in order to get as many Beldum as possible. If you want to speed up the process even more, use Pinap Berries. This will help you get 6 candies from each one of them. That will definitely speed up the Metagross evolution by a conciderable amount. Go catch them all trainers!
