New Update for Elder Scrolls Legends Fixes Problems With the Recent Overhaul

Last week, Sparkypants Studios launched their long-awaited overhaul of The Elder Scrolls: Legends. Ever since the developer took over control of the game from the original developer, Dire Wolf Digital, they have been rebuilding the game from the ground up. The new version features a whole host of improvements. However, like any new release, it also has a lot of bugs. Fortunately, it seems that Sparkypants Studios is acting swiftly to remedy as many as it can; the studio has now launched the first Elder Scrolls Legends update since the overhaul.

The Elder Scrolls Legends Update 2.1

The Elder Scrolls Legends Update 2.1 is the first Game Update for the Elder Scrolls card game since the re-launch last week. In fact, the patch launched just four days after the launch. The full patch notes are available on The Elder Scrolls Legends’ official website. The update addresses a wide variety of bug fixes for the most part, especially for the game’s audio, as well as its UI and display. The new version of The Elder Scrolls Legends includes all of the extra content previously released; The Dark Brotherhood and Return to Clockwork City, for example. As a result, this update addresses bugs found across all content, including in those expansions.

The Recent Launch of the Elder Scrolls Legends Overhaul Caused Several Bugs

One of the most notable fixes for serious players is a fix for a problem with the “Legend” rank. This rank had not been displaying properly, and could sometimes obscure cards held in a player’s hand. This has now been fixed. In addition, ranked matches in Legends will now affect a player’s Legend rank properly again. Another major bug was also preventing players from logging in if their account names or passwords contained special characters. This has also been addressed by Sparkypants Studios. One line in the patch notes also mentions that players should; “experience fewer delays while downloading over slower internet connections.”
