The first week of season 6 is slowly coming to its end. Fortnite Battle Royale players are preparing for week 2 and new weekly challenges that will come with it. Considering that the season started on Thursday, we can expect the new challenges to come out on the same day.
Just as it was the case in week 1 and the previous season, Fortnite players will get seven new challenges. These challenges will come in two different groups and three of them will be hard. Battle Pass owners will gain the access to all of these challenges, while free players will get three of them. Let’s check what’s coming to Fortnite next week!
Free Fortnite Challenges
The first free Fortnite challenge will be about the corrupted areas. Players will have to visit seven of these areas to complete the challenge and get five Battle Stars. The second challenge will be similar as it will require players to use a Shadow Stone in three different matches. At the moment, Shadow Stones are disabled, but Epic Games will probably enable them before week 2 starts.
Lastly, the third challenge in this category will be staged. The first stage of it will have players deal 200 damage to their opponents with assault rifles.
Fortnite Battle Pass Challenges
Two challenges from this category will be about weapon damage, while the other two will be about eliminations with specific weapons. Fortnite players will have to deal 500 damage with pistols to complete one of these challenges. Additionally, there will be another staged challenge, and the first stage will have a 200-damage requirement with a Hunting Rifle.
Finally, Fortnite players will have to get three SMG eliminations and eliminate an opponent from at least 50 meters away. The SMG challenge is categorized as a hard challenge and will reward players with 10 Battle Stars.
