In what may be one of the weirdest leaks ever, the Lucio-Oh’s official Overwatch cereal has leaked. What makes this already odd leak even weirder is how it leaked. We now have proof of this real Overwatch cereal via a school food service company. The company offers products to school in order to supply students with their daily breakfast and lunches.
It seems that one of those potential breakfast items in the future will be the official Lucio-Oh’s Overwatch cereal. This licensed cereal comes from Kellogg’s. Kellogg’s is best known for its delicious assortment of cereal brands like Cocoa Krispies and Frosted Flakes. This new Overwatch licensed cereal looks to be joining Kellogg’s lineup very soon.
Overwatch Lucio-Oh’s Cereal Box Art
The One School Food Service website has the Lucio-Oh’s Overwatch cereal leaked on its website. The branded cereal is based on the titular hero from Overwatch. Interestingly enough, this particular cereal is in Overwatch. The hero has one in-game spray that references the cereal, which is now apparently a real thing.
As for the Lucio-Oh’s themselves, they represent the hero well. The cereal looks similar to Fruit Loops but the loops are appropriately yellow and green. According to the box, the flavor of the cereal is “sonic vanilla.” While we don’t have an official announcement or release date, we do have an idea of when it comes out.
The cereal box for the Lucio-Oh’s notes that purchasing it will net you some in-game rewards. In order to receive these exclusive rewards, you must purchase the cereal between December 3, 2018 and December 31, 2018. This reveals that the cereal should at least be out by December 3.
Those who purchase the cereal during that window and take a picture of the receipt will be eligible for the rewards. The reward for buying the Lucio-Oh’s is an additional loot box for the next three times you level up.
