NBA Live 19 Title Update Brings One Store, Companion App Fixes, & More
EA Sports released their brand new NBA Live 19 title update over the past several days. While this wasn’t quite as massive as their previous update, it brought about some helpful fixes. In particular, they have improved stability in the gameplay and also updated the Companion App for better facial scans. Here are more details on what’s been updated.
NBA Live Title Update Notes
On Wednesday (Oct. 17), the NBA Live Dev Team posted on reddit about the latest game update. It’s by no means a large update but may offer some helpful upgrades. It came with several key changes which address various issues or glitches in the game.
- The One Store update
- Resolved issue where practice jerseys in Ultimate Team weren’t appearing correctly.
- Stability fixes
It appears that the store update may have brought a completely new store and eliminated the previous one. There may already be some frustrated gamers who are asking for that old store back again.
Also, for fans who don’t see the update immediately, a recommended solution is to turn off the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One console and then turn it back on. This should get the latest update installed.
NBA Live 19 Title Update to Companion App
Just a day before these NBA Live 19 title update notes arrived, there was news that they changed the Companion App. The NBA Live Dev Team indicated that this fix helps give better face scan results in more lighting conditions. That will allow for creating a “smoother, more seamless blend of your facial features with the rest of the head” for a gamer’s final scan results.
To get this working, gamers need to make sure they have the latest version of the NBA Live Companion app installed (iTunes App Store | Google Play). Then, perform a brand new face scan to see the better results.

While this latest NBA Live 19 title update seems small, it brings some helpful changes with it. There are still gamers asking for some improvements. Some of the changes that gamers are requesting include more blocks in the game, as well as more headbands and undershirts for the league. There are also requests for payment of extra coins for head-to-head or coins in LUT if an opponent is disconnected.
The NBA Live 19 game is currently available for the Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One consoles.
