Fortnite Battle Royale players have been waiting for the gifting system to come out for a few months. Even though Epic Games hasn’t officially revealed this feature, data miners have found it in the game data. According to them, the Fortnite developer has updated the feature in the latest patch.
The patch v6.20 has added some big changes to Fortnite Battle Royale. Additionally, there have been a few more additions that haven’t been released to the game yet. One of these additions is the gifting feature, and players are hoping that it will be released very soon.
Gifting Feature in Fortnite Battle Royale
The gifting feature in Fortnite Battle Royale was first leaked during season 4. Many players thought Epic Games would release it during the season, but the feature is still not out. According to data miners, the gifting feature is almost ready to be released. However, the Fortnite creator is most likely making sure that there are no problems with it.
A few weeks ago, data miners have successfully found out what this feature would look like. The latest patch, however, has changed it, and Fortnite players can now see what the updated interface looks like.
As you can see in the video above, players will be able to select a different gift wrap and to send a gift along with a personalized message. Everything else has remained the same, and it seems there is still a restriction on how many gifts players can send.
Keep in mind that the data miner who made the video has enabled the fake in-game store. This store has Battle Pass items for sale, which is something that Epic Games will never add. The next Fortnite Battle Royale patch will come out on Wednesday, October 31, and it won’t be surprising if we get the gifting feature with it.
