The Red Dead Redemption 2 fence locations are important to know as you play the game. Though there are only a handful of them, it’s worth memorizing their locations. If you didn’t know already, fences are special traders that don’t mind you sell them unsavory goods. They are essential for making money quickly and efficiently in the game.
Essentially, the Red Dead Redemption 2 fence locations are where you are going to want to take your illegal goods. Whether you looted them off dead foes or robbed them off someone, these spots are the places to go. No other trader will deal in these goods even if you acquired them through honest self-defense. The majority of these goods are under the valuables category. Here is where you will want to take all of your valuables.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Fence Locations
There are only four fence locations in the entire game that we’ve found thus far. Despite having a total of five different “states” represented, there are only these four spots to go to. Since they are few and far between, you are going to want to memorize them. It’s worth noting that not every town and city in the game has a fence so you may have to travel a bit.
The closest Red Dead Redemption 2 fence location near the start of the game is Emerald Ranch. This is a good spot to quickly unload your gold pocket watches and rings but it does take a bit of riding to get to. Next up is the Van Horn Trading Post found in New Hanover. The third fence is found near the town of Rhodes, just northeast of it in the state of Lemoyne.
Finally, the last fence spot is found in the major city of Saint Denis (seen above) in Lemoyne. This is a great spot to unload those “hard-earned” duplicated gold bars and our personal favorite fence to visit.
