Zion Williamson NBA 2K19 hype video emerges

Sky’s the limit when it comes to creating just about anyone in a sports video game. Gamers can create themselves to take on a role on the court. They can also create stars of the future who have yet to participate in the NBA Draft. That includes a Zion Williamson NBA 2K19 player created by one gamer. A video hyping up his arrival as the next savior for the Cavs was posted online, and NBA 2K folks shared it.

The video is a potential glimpse into a highlight reel of the future of a rookie with high NBA 2K player ratings who could dominate. It’s got Williamson making all sorts of spectacular players including a dunk over former Slam Dunk champ Blake Griffin. It’s all done wearing various Cavs jerseys too. The video definitely gives a fun “what if” situation and is probably more fun to play in the video game. The Cleveland Cavaliers are certainly in need of a player of Williamson’s caliber.

Zion Williamson NBA 2K19 player predicting the future?

Williamson has already drawn early comparisons to “King James” who is now a bonafide superstar in the NBA. James led the Cleveland Cavaliers to an NBA Championship and multiple NBA Finals appearances. He’s now the star of the Los Angeles Lakers, leaving a spot open for Williamson to lead the Cavs.

Multiple websites have pegged the Duke Blue Devils’ freshman as the No. 1 overall pick. For his first season in the collegiate game, he’s putting up 25.3 points, 10.7 rebounds, blocking three shots, and stealing the ball 2.7 times a game. That’s based on just 25.3 minutes per game showing how talented this kid is already.

There are strong chances of Cleveland landing the No. 1 pick based on their early showing this season. The Cavaliers are currently last in terms of NBA standings with a 2-12 record. However, they appear to have competition from a few other teams playing poorly. The Atlanta Hawks are 3-12 and the Phoenix Suns are 3-11. Phoenix and Atlanta would love a chance at a player like Williamson too.

There are several other prospects who are likely to be in next year’s 2K game, but right now Williamson is generating the buzz. Time will tell if the NBA 2K19 prophecy comes true and the Cavs land Zion at No. 1.
