The Fallout 76 Target Rich Environment drop quest is relatively simple as far as side quests go. It is one of five which can be undertaken in the Toxic Valley, along with Big Game Hunt and others. The mission tasks you with acquiring new paper targets for the Clarksburg Shooting Club.
How to Complete the Fallout 76 Target Rich Environment Drop Quest
Starting the Fallout 76 Target Rich Environment drop quest is relatively easy. When you first approach the Clarksburg Shooting Club, you’ll get a miscellaneous quest which tells you to speak to the shooting range attendant. Once you do, the full quest will be given to you. If you happen to have the quest Bureau of Tourism, which you can begin in Grafton, the two quests align very well. Bureau of Tourism requires you to visit both the Clarksburg Shooting Club and Wavy Willard’s Waterpark, the other location you’ll need to visit for Target Rich Environment. If you can, try to do both at the same time!
Leave Clarksburg Shooting Range and make your way north to Wavy Willard’s Waterpark. To acquire the Box of Shooting Targets, you’ll need to get into the Waterpark’s lower level. You can do this via a staircase to the right of the Crocolossus Mountain building, or via one of two holes in the ground; one beneath the crocodile slide, and the other in the cobra pool. Finding the targets shouldn’t be too difficult. However, you will likely face opposition from Scorched or irradiated animals in the Waterpark.
With the Box of Shooting Targets acquired, make your way back to the Clarksburg Shooting Club and put them on the range. Doing so completes the quest. By way of a reward, you’ll receive a random weapon, random ammo and aid items, and a random plan, mod, weapon, or armour piece. There’s also a chance that you’ll receive a random legendary weapon or armour piece.
