A new legendary raid is now available in Pokemon GO, including the Fire-Steel type Heatran. To start off, let’s talk a bit about Heatran itself. The Pokemon comes in a range of 2058 to 2145CP, after the raid. However, it can be weather boosted by Sunny or Snow weather getting its CP to 2573 to 2681. Its weaknesses are fighting, water and ground with a double multiplier. This means that using ground pokemon will do the trick for this one.

First of all we have the obvious two that you already have. Rhydon and Golem. If you happen to have enough candies and a Sinnoh Stone to make a Rhyperior out of Rhydon, even better. Machamp is also a solid counter for him along with Hariyama.
