The next full Elder Scrolls title is still years away, and the upcoming mobile game, Elder Scrolls: Blades, has recently had its release date pushed back to 2019. (Despite prior denials from Bethesda that the game’s release date had been delayed). However, there is one impending release which fans of The Elder Scrolls can now look forward to as well; that of the official Elder Scrolls Cookbook!
An Official Elder Scrolls Cookbook is a Few Months Away From Publication
The Elder Scrolls: The Official Cookbook is a hardcover tome written by Chelsea Monroe-Cassel; an author who has written official cookbooks for Game of Thrones, World of Warcraft, and Hearthstone. The book was recently announced and is currently available for pre-order online. “Immerse yourself in the diverse cuisines of the Nords, Bosmer, Khajiit, and beyond,” reads the book’s Amazon product description; “with these recipes inspired by food found in the Old Kingdom, across Tamriel, and more.”
The Elder Scrolls Cookbook is available for pre-order now for the price of $16.39. The book will release on the 26th of March, 2019, in just a few months’ time. According to the product description, the upcoming hardback contains; “over sixty delicious recipes including Apple Cabbage Stew, Sunlight Souffle, Sweetrolls, and more”; all told, the book has 192 pages!
Interestingly, The Elder Scrolls isn’t the only franchise of Bethesda’s to have an official cookbook now. An official Fallout cookbook released on the 23rd of October, earlier this year; Fallout: The Vault Dweller’s Official Cookbook. That book, which was written by Victoria Rosenthal, is in fact also a hardcover cookbook. Not only that, but the two are nearly identical in size. Although written by different authors, the two cookbooks are both being published by Insight Editions. The Elder Scrolls 6 might still be a few years away from release, but it looks like fans can still get a taste (quite literally) of Tamriel in the meantime!
