Epic Games Announces $1 Million Fortnite E3 2018 Celebrity Showdown
E3 now looks a whole lot more legit as Epic Games has announced a $1 million dollar Fortnite E3 2018 Celebrity Showdown. The epic Battle Royale match will see 100 players duke it out in one of the most insane last duo standing matches. That’s right, this showdown will be a duos match mode specifically. There will be 50 teams of two; one celebrity paired up with one pro.

The last duo standing will win the Victory Royale and the ultimate prize of $1 million dollars in the Fortnite E3 2018 Celebrity Showdown. In an awesome act of kindness, the million dollars will be split between the winning duo for the charity of their choice. Though there will be a total of 50 pairs of celebrities and pros, we already know some of them from the Twitter announcement.
Some of the pairs in the Fortnite E3 2018 Celebrity Showdown include Ninja and Marshmello, Myth and Paul George, Pokimane and Desiigner, Markiplier and Joel McHale, and Gotaga and Demetrious Johnson. More pairs will be announced in the coming weeks between now and E3 next month.
The Fortnite E3 2018 Celebrity Showdown will kick off promptly at 3:30 pm PT on Tuesday, June 12th, 2018. It will be livestreamed across various platforms like the Fortnite Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook. During the stream, you will have the chance to win epic swag. Finally, there will be an epic Party Royale the evening of the same day of the Fortnite E3 2018 Celebrity Showdown on June 12th where an insane celebration of everything Fortnite.
