There are so many changes and new additions going on right now in Destiny 2 for players to check out like the Izanami Forge and the weekly bounties. One of the biggest changes recently is the Destiny 2 Xur time. Every week, players expect this special NPC vendor to show up each week. For better or for worse, things have changed for Xur every single week.
That’s right, the Destiny 2 Xur time is totally different than it used to be. Chances are, if you’re reading this right now, Xur should have already shown up in Destiny 2. But he hasn’t, of course, and it’s not because of a glitch or anything like that. Instead, Bungie is now choosing to switch the time that Xur comes to Destiny 2. Here’s what you need to know.
Destiny 2 Xur Time
Originally, the time that Xur showed up in the game was on Fridays in the morning-ish in the United States. That would later in the day for most people. It has now switched where you actually will see Xur slightly earlier than ever before. He will now show up at 5 pm GMT and a little earlier in the morning in the United States.
The new Destiny 2 Xur time actually isn’t a huge difference after all. Instead, it means that players who are on the eastern half of the world will get to check out Xur a little earlier than ever before. Of course, there are no changes otherwise to how Xur works from now on.
He is still the same weird Exotic vendor who offers unique, awesome items for players to purchase that would normally take a long time to find using just Engrams. As such, be sure to check back here every single week for the location of Xur and what items he is selling for the weekend.
