Remember how we all got nuts about the possibility of Black Ops 4 releasing on Nintendo’s console? Unfortunately, this was only a rumor. Treyarch was quick to shut it down. However, the Mobile Ops Black Ops 4 gesture shows that it’s not forgotten. By no means do we implore that it’s a tease. In reality it is extremely difficult to port the game on the Switch. It’s always good to see developers paying homage to a generation defining device.

The Black Ops 4 gesture in discussion, as reported by Nintendo Life, shows the specialist playing on a handheld console. It’s a black device similar to the Nintendo Switch. In addition, it includes the same button layout, although, it includes a D-Pad. The side joy-cons are not detachable though, meaning that it is not the same console.

The game that on the console is Dead Ops Arcade 2: Cyber’s Avengening. It is a retro style mini game in Call of Duty games, although it is not playable. For what it’s worth, it’s cool to see Treyarch adding such a sweet detail into their game. It does,in a weird way, brings closure to all of us that wanted to see the game ported. In addition, it gives players hopes that there might be a later version of the game on Nintendo Switch.

Could Blackout come to Nintendo’s hybrid console at some point? Or, at least, a future Call of Duty title? We don’t know anything about it, however, we’ll keep looking out for that possibility.
