Just shortly after we covered the release window announcement for Wargroove, we now know the official Wargroove release date for the upcoming strategy game. The best part? It releases next week on February 1, 2019. We knew it would be in February but we didn’t realize it would be so soon in the month. It launches that day on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
Unfortunately, you may have noticed that we didn’t say PS4. Sadly, the PS4 version won’t be releasing the same day as the other ones. Thankfully, our contact has noted that the release date for that platform will be announced soon as well. It seems there is some bit of delay for some reason on that platform. Regardless, this is great news.

After all, players have been waiting patiently for quite some time for the Wargroove release date. It’s even crazier that it’s just over a week away. For those who don’t know what the game is, it’s basically an Advance Wars-inspired turn-based strategy game. You command one of four factions and lead your troops into turn-based battles.
There is a full singleplayer campaign for players to go through and enjoy the story. However, there is also multiplayer available for up to four players. Also, the game launches with a complete level and campaign editor so that you can create your very own levels and campaigns. What’s crazy is you can even make your own cutscenes for your story mode.
These can then be shared with other players around the world. The Wargroove release date is next Friday, February 1, 2019. Players can enjoy the game that day on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC. The PS4 release date will soon follow. Wargroove will be on sale for $19.99 on its launch day. Stay tuned for more information about the strategy game.
