More Fallout 76 PvE Content is Coming in March

Bethesda recently announced an upcoming Fallout 76 Survival mode; a new way to play the game with far less strict limitations on PvP. The content is intended to sate the many players who have been asking for more PvP options. However, many other fans have no great interest in the mode and have been asking for more PvE content, especially for Fallout 76’s end-game. According to Bethesda’s community manager, there actually will be new Fallout 76 PvE content launching alongside Survival mode.

Fallout 76 PvE Content Will Launch Alongside Survival Mode

Although it doesn’t have a firm release date yet, the Fallout 76 Survival mode will launch in March, according to Bethesda. It will initially be available in Beta form, allowing Bethesda to get player feedback and make relevant changes as necessary. It may not be the only PvP mode on its way for the game, as the studio has also teased a “faction-based PvP” system, which doesn’t seem to be a part of Survival.

Fallout 76 PvE Content On Its Way

While the mode may address the requests for more PvP options coming from one subset of Fallout 76’s player-base; there’s another subset to whom that content likely doesn’t appeal. Plenty of gamers want to see more Fallout 76 PvE content, especially for the later levels of the game. Given that there is only one small faction that exists outside of the main quest, there isn’t a tremendous amount of story content left once you finish the main quest-line. This leaves players with the choice of exploring the world or repeating the final mission to farm resources; both things which don’t necessarily appeal to everyone.

However, it seems that players interested more in PvE could also be getting something more to their liking in March. In response to questions about upcoming content, Bethesda’s community manager took to Reddit to reveal that there is more Fallout 76 PvE content on its way. Although it hasn’t been announced yet, it will apparently launch alongside Survival mode in March; “We’re also seeing the thoughts shared by those of you who’d like to see more PvE content,” they say; “and while I can’t spoil any details just yet, I will say that Survival mode won’t be the only new content coming to Fallout 76 in March, so stay tuned!
