How to Fix the Crashing Problem for Apex Legends on Xbox One

Players across the world are going crazy over the uber-popular Apex Legends. This Battle Royale game has quickly risen through the ranks to more than 25 million players in just over a week. However, not all players are able to enjoy the game right now. This is because of a certain Apex Legends Crashing Xbox One error that is plaguing that specific console.

It is an annoying error that many players are dealing with. As a game that just came out, it’s no surprise that it has some technical issues that need fixing. Unfortunately, though, this one is a major issue that is affecting a lot of players. While crashing does happen on PC and PS4, this Apex Legends Crashing Xbox One error is running rampant.

How to Fix Apex Legends Crashing Xbox One Error

Apex Legends Crashing Xbox One error

Even though an update just dropped earlier today, this error is still happening to Xbox One players. This is actually much different than the PC crashing error. It doesn’t really have any rhyme or reason behind it in all honesty, as it is just happening to Xbox One players.

For the most part, it stops you from playing any matches whatsoever. You are able to make it to the main lobby but not much farther than that. As soon as players are loading into a match or the tutorial, it just crashes. Since today’s update didn’t fix the Apex Legends Crashing Xbox One error, we’re going to have to wait for another patch.

In the meantime, though, some users are reporting that going through all of your Legends and individually selecting their skins to the default skin then changing your featured Legend (the one on the lobby screen) to someone else will fix it. However, take that with a grain of salt and, regardless, it is only a temporary fix. Make sure to let EA know about your issue on forums and social media.
