The Division 2 Endgame Infographic Reveals its First Raid Title

Ubisoft has been pretty coy when it comes to The Division 2’s new endgame raids feature. With roughly a month to go until launch, we still know next to nothing about the sequel’s raid experiences. However, thanks to a new infographic, we now at least know the first raid’s official designation.

The Division 2 Operation Dark Hours Raid

The Division 2 first raid title

According to this recent Twitter post and accompanying infographic, The Division 2’s first raid is called Operation Dark Hours. There’s not too much to be gleaned from the infographic’s image other than the raid’s title. However, it does look like the raid is set in an airport. How exactly the raid will function still isn’t known, but Ubisoft previously confirmed it involves a group of eight players.

The infographic also expands upon the endgame elements teased in The Division 2’s most recent trailer. The World Tiers system from The Division will return, encompassing five tiers in total. In The Division, world tiers allowed players to slowly scale up the difficulty (and rewards) of endgame open-world PvE encounters.

Along with structured missions, it also looks like the endgame Black Tusk faction can “invade” the open world as well. This will be a separate mechanic from the “occupied” Dark Zones which also involve Black Tusk. Between the invaded missions, invaded open world, and occupied Dark Zone, players will be fighting Black Tusk quite a bit.

Lastly, the infographic confirms that all pre-endgame replayable activities will remain available in the endgame. Such activities include the following:

  • Main and side story missions
  • Living world activities
  • Faction Strongholds
  • Base of Operations projects
  • Settlement projects
  • Clan projects
  • Priority PvE Targets
  • Structured PvP “Conflict” modes

The Division 2 launches on March 15 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Before that, Ubisoft will be hosting an open beta between March 1-4. The open beta includes the same content as the previous closed betas but is naturally open to all.
