He’s the highest-rated player to join the lineup since his fellow superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and the only 90s-or-higher rated player in the new starting XI. FIFA 19 Team of the Week 24: Starting XI brings Lionel Messi
A 97-rated Messi makes a welcome addition for TOTW 24’s starting XI. The Barcelona star certainly impressed in his club’s most recent matchup. Messi achieved a hat trick along with an assist as his squad came back to win 4-2 after trailing Sevilla.
It’s the first Messi appearance on a FUT TOTW since his inclusion in FIFA’s Team of the Year lineup. It also brings gamers one of the best FUT cards in quite a while and moves Messi to a different spot in terms of his position.
In addition to that Messi card, gamers can also pick up an 87 Veratti, 86 Luka Jovic, and an 86 Javi Martinez. Veratti stepped it up with an assist to help his Paris Saint-German club in the 3-0 victory against Nimes. Jovic’s 86-rated card arrives after he assisted two teammates and score a goal in Eintracht Frankfurt’s latest win over Hannover.
