The Fortnite Week 5 challenges were leaked yesterday, showing off what players will have to do in order to get Battle Pass points this next week in Season 4. Now Epic Games has announced exactly when these new challenges would be going live, and that date is on May 31 at 4 o’clock AM.
Much like many other online games that involve regular events, the game goes in a cycle that resets every week. In this case, the game’s challenges reset on Thursdays at 4 in the morning. There’s also a countdown that can help you figure out when the game will update, and after its downtime the new challenges will be present and you can start working on all of the challenges.
The various challenges appear to be simpler than last week’s, which included a number of different somewhat difficult things that you had to do within one game to complete, such as visiting the center of a storm eye three times, or when you have to search for a Battle Star that’s positioned between a helicopter, ice cream truck, and bench.
This week’s challenges are things like getting 500 damage against players with submachine guns, getting two eliminations with a minigun or light machine gun, or opening seven treasure chests. The most difficult thing that could be there is finding seven gravity stones, as we don’t know the exact locations of the gravity stones yet.
All of the different challenges will still be doable, so if you didn’t get to do any from last week, you can still try and do them this week alongside the current Fortnite Week 5 challenges. We’ve already got a number of tips to help you in how to do them, so if you’re struggling on one of those more difficult challenges you can search our site to let you know how to do them.
In the meantime, remember, the new Fortnite Week 5 challenges won’t be available until Thursday, May 31.
