Much like its predecessor, The Division 2 is a looter-shooter game. This means that players will be spending a lot of their time gunning down bad guys and earning loot-based rewards. However, those who diligently played The Division and/or The Division 2’s beta should already have several rewards waiting for them. In this guide we’ll explain how you can claim your Division Shield and beta test rewards in The Division 2.
The Division 2 Shield and Beta Rewards
As part of a special months-long promotion, Ubisoft added a series of ‘Shields’ into The Division. These Shields are basically long-term in-game achievements spread across different gameplay activities. By earning a specific number of Shields, players can also unlock exclusive cosmetic rewards in The Division 2.
To recap, here are the four Division 2 rewards on offer and the number of Shields needed to unlock them
- Red, White, and Blue Weapon Skin – One Shield needed
- Brown Leather Jacket and NYC Apple gear patch – Four Shields needed
- ‘Shush’ Emote and Red, White, and Blue Gear Dye Color – Eight Shields needed
- ‘Fist Pump’ Emote and American Flag Backpack Trophy – 12 Shields needed
If you’re eligible for a Shield reward, you can claim it from the Ubisoft Club rewards menu. The easiest way to access this menu is from within The Division 2 game client. Along with other items you can purchase with Club Points, you’ll find your Shield rewards waiting for you.
This same process is also how you can claim any Division 2 beta participating rewards. Simply navigate to the rewards section of the Ubisoft Club interface to see which in-game rewards you unlocked.
The early access period for The Division 2 has already begun, but the full game opens up tomorrow, March 15. While you wait, be sure to check out our guide on how to find The Division 2’s Hyena Keys. We’ve also got a guide on altering your character’s appearance.
