The same exact Reddit user who “leaked” the Nintendo E3 2018 list also accurately predicted the announcement of Fallout 76, which was officially unveiled by Bethesda this morning. This certainly lends some major credence to the Reddit user SoMeh, especially regarding their list of what we will see from Nintendo at E3 this year. Of course, it’s worth noting that given the potential accuracy of the Reddit user’s list, there are potential full spoilers ahead for what Nintendo will be announcing.
If you are someone who prefers the excitement and surprise of E3 announcements, we recommend you turn away now. If you don’t mind being potentially spoiled on some surprises, then stick with us. Still here? Good. Reddit user SoMeh recently posted a Nintendo E3 2018 list, showing the full schedule for everything that will be announced during its media showcase.
Many fans in the community immediately discredited the list for a number of reasons. However, SoMeh’s accurate prediction of the name of the new Fallout game has led many to believe that the list is, in fact, real. Let’s run through the full list of games that will be showcased during the Nintendo E3 2018 video.
- Super Smash Bros for Switch
- Punch-Out!! Become the Champion
- Metroid Prime: Renegade (presumably Metroid Prime 4)
- Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion
- Fire Emblem Memories
- Fallout 3 Anniversary
- Yoshi’s Flipping Island
- Pokemon Let’s Go! Pikachu and Eevee
- F-Zero SX
- Fortnite
- Star Fox Lylat System
Initially, we were pretty skeptical of this Nintendo E3 2018 list for a few reasons. First and foremost, it does seem weird for Nintendo to release F-Zero and a Star Fox game that are so similar. Also, the name “Star Fox Lylat System” does seem contrary to other recent leaks that it would be called Star Fox Grand Prix, however, Lylat System could be a codename used internally.
There is also a line-up of games that will be shown off in a sizzle reel trailer at the beginning of the Nintendo E3 2018 showcase, featuring Dragon Ball FighterZ for Switch, FIFA 19, NBA 2K19, Crash Bandicoot, Octopath Traveler, and Wolfenstein II. Those games all seem like safe bets so we shall see how true this is in just a couple of weeks at E3.
