With the arrival of patch 4.3 that just brought shopping carts and the return of the refund system today, Fortnite players have had a lot to pore over. Unfortunately, in addition to the awesome things that came to the game today, there were some frustrating aspects that made their way over as well.
Specfically, console players have been seeing issues with the game’s servers, especially on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Fortunately, Epic Games is well aware of the issue and is working to get things resolved now. As it stands, it looks like certain wins are just not being counted for anyone playing on console, which is a pretty big problem.
Epic Games has taken to the official Fortnite Status page to announce the latest updates in terms of the server problems: “We’ve identified and are actively looking into a situation where Battle Royale match wins for console players are not reporting correctly. We will continue to provide updates as they are made available.”

In terms of things that are currently operational, the status page notes the following aspects of the server are working as intended:
- Website and Forums – Operational
- Game Services – Operational
Login – Operational - Parties, Friends, and Messaging – Operational
- Voice Chat – Operational
- Matchmaking – Operational
- Stats and Leaderboards Degraded Performance
- Store – Operational
It’s likely the problem won’t be affecting players too long since Fortnite’s team usually jumps on a problem and solves it quickly after it begins, but best to keep an eye out while playing just in case. In the meantime,l have you tried out the new weird and wacky shopping carts in-game? Now that’s a classy way for you and your friends to get around the battlefield in style.
