MLB The Show 19 Gameplay Update 1.06 Fixes March To October, Road To The Show Issues

MLB The Show 19 gameplay has been out for nearly two weeks now, yet they are working out the bugs. The Show is one of the best baseball games on the market, but a hiccup here and there is always expected.

Gameplay updates. They are just part of the process of building a better product. On the heels of a recent MLB The Show update, the Sony brain trust cleaned up a few more minor issues that needed attention.

One of the biggest adjustments was made to March to October. The popular new feature that lets gamers get to the Fall Classic faster than ever needed a small adjustment.

An issue was discovered that made Game 7 of the World Series become simulated instead of played. In the end, that would nullify awards, which is not good!

Other adjustments were made to Road to the Show, intro videos and conquest mode. While the recent updates weren’t as in-depth as the first go-round, they were needed.

One problem was the games randomly crashing. The adjustments have all been made so hopefully it is smooth sailing from here on out!

  • Resolved a sequence in March to October that would result in the 7th game of the World Series to be simmed instead of played, nullifying rewards.
  • Minor tuning to AI and animations, which includes fixes for missed tags following throw cancels.
  • Fixed a floating bat on specific follow-through animations.
  • Road to the Show Dynamic Quest adjustments.
  • Adjustments made to Guess Pitch audio feedback.
  • Fixed various consumer reported crashes.

Miscellaneous

  • Intro videos will now play when fast-play is set in March to October.
  • Fixed an issue related to Conquest and Ranked Seasons where total XP earned (aka “Level”) was being set back to a previous timestamp.
  • Other various minor bug fixes.
