Andrew Miller, Christian Yelich Faceoff In This Week’s MLB The Show 19 Challenge

Another week, another challenge! This week MLB The Show 19 not only has a great matchup in their weekly challenge, but they have changed up the top prizes as well. Flame-throwing St. Louis Cardinals closer Andrew Miller will face Milwaukee’s rising star, Christian Yelich in the latest challenge.

Andrew Miller, Christian Yelich clash

Andrew Miller has been one of the best relief pitchers in the game for over a decade now. However, he will have his hands full against the surging Christian Yelich.

After a breakout season in 2018, Yelich has continued his torrid pace in 2019. On the heels of a 3-home run game against the St. Louis Cardinals on Monday, (April 15) Yelich is making another case to be the National League MVP. Ironically, Yelich has his best game of the season to date on Jackie Robinson Day. That’s makes a bit extra special!

Yelich wasn’t high up on may radar’s heading into the 2018 season. However, coming into this season, MLB The Sow had Yelich at the top of the ratings.

Right now, it is safe to say the Yelich’s rating on The Show will surely be on the rise.

MLB The Show weekly prize change

If you are not familiar with how the MLB The Show weekly challenge works, it is simple. As the player, you will be Christian Yelich. Your goal is to get as many hits off of Andrew Miller (who will pitch in CPU mode) before hitting three outs. Te more hits you get, the more points you earn.

This week’s prizes will be a bit different than in week’s past.

The top 100 contenders will all receive a prize from MLB, that includes authentic autographs to MLB The Show perks. The top three leaders will really cash in. First prize is an autographed baseball from Ken Griffey Jr.

Second prize is 30,000 stubs, while third prize is rewarded with 25,00 stubs.

Good luck fellow gamers!
