NBA 2K19 MyTeam Throwback Playoff Moments Cards Arrive Including Pink Diamond Derrick Rose
Basketball fans are enjoying a feast of NBA matchups as the postseason is underway. Meanwhile, the NBA 2K19 game is dropping some great new cards in honor of Playoff heroes. The first batch includes many fans’ favorite star Derrick Rose as just one of a trio of Pink Diamond cards. Here’s a look at the new NBA 2K19 MyTeam Throwback Playoff Moments cards available in packs.
NBA 2K19 MyTeam Throwback Playoff Moments cards
Just as the NBA postseason began, NBA 2K19 launched their Playoffs Moments packs and cards. On April 18, the NBA 2K crew posted a promotional video on Twitter showing off the first group of Throwback Playoff Moments cards.
These NBA 2K19 MyTeam cards are a blast from the playoffs of the past. They include former Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose, as well as All-Star big man Alonzo Mourning. Both players have Pink Diamond cards available as part of the new release. That Zo card carries a 98 rating with it, while Rose is a 97, and Oladipo is a 96.
Indiana Pacers star Victor Oladipo is absent from this year’s postseason due to injury. However, he came up big in the team’s series against LeBron James and the Cavaliers last postseason. He’s got the third Pink Diamond revealed so far and it has a 96 rating with it.
There are also six other players who were unsung heroes in the NBA Playoffs. JR Smith (94) and George McGinnis (95) have Diamond cards available. Fans can find 92-rated Avery Bradley and Bruce Bowen Amethyst cards. There are also 89-rated Ruby cards for Matt Barnes and Tony Allen. All of the cards are available for just one week from today.
How to get NBA 2K19 Throwback Playoffs Moments cards
Gamers can try to acquire the cards above by visiting the NBA 2K19 MyTeam mode in the game and then going to the Pack Market. Scroll to the “Playoffs Throwback Moments” packs. They start out at 7,500 Virtual Currency or 10,500 MT for a single pack. That pack gives a chance at pulling one of the limited time Throwback Playoffs Moments players.
To purchase 10 packs will cost 67,500 in VC and gives a greater chance at pulling some of those special cards. For 135,000 VC, gamers can purchase 20 packs for even more chances to score one of those Pink Diamond Derrick Rose or other hot cards.
Of course, if you’ve got the MT built up, there’s always the Auction House. Right now, the D-Rose card is going for a bid over 330,000 MT. Those Zo and Oladipo PD cards are also fetching a hefty bidding price of over 100,000 MT each.
