The latest MLB The Show 19 Headliners have arrived! Once again old meets new in the headliners as a longtime Pittsburgh Pirates legend, Bill Mazeroski, and current Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Jake Arrieta enter the realm.
Mazeroski leads-off MLB The Show 19 Headliners
The fourth set of the MLB The Show Headliners Pack is now available for gamers. This release features the first Signature Series player in Legend Bill Mazeroski.
Best known as “Maz,” The Hall of Famer was a 10-time All-Star and two-time World Series champion. He played all 17 seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
A player spending his entire career with one club is unheard of nowadays, especially when you play for nearly two decades! In his career, Maz has so many great moments on the field, The Show could easily add 10 or more without an issue. With an overall rating of 93, Mazeroski’s Diamond card ranks with the best of them.
2015 Arrieta
Next up is Jake Arrieta. Arrieta is now a member of the Phillies, however, his Headliner card takes him back to his Chicago Cubs days.
The card is from 2015, a year owned by Arrieta. His 22-6 record along with a 1.77 ERA was good enough to lead him to win the Cy Young award. The tough righty could do no wrong that season.
Arrieta followed up that season by going 18-8 in 2016 and helping the Cubs win their first World Series crown in over 100 years.
Just a reminder, each Headliners Set 4-pack that gamers can obtain contains one guaranteed Silver player, plus three other player items.
That increases your chances of finding the latest releases in Bill Mazeroski and Jake Arrieta. Remember, previous featured Headliners, including Bryce Harper in a Phillies uniform, can be purchased in the MLB The Show shop.
