Madden 19 Last Chance Qualifiers Produce Final Two Madden Bowl Competitors
On Sunday (Apr. 21), gamers were vying for the final two spots at the upcoming Madden Bowl. Once Sunday night had arrived, two competitors were left standing above the rest of the field. Those two Last Chance Qualifiers are “SomeSerious92” and “NFL_SiXtH_sEnSe” as both gamers rose to the occasion during Sunday’s matchups.
Madden 19 Last Chance Qualifiers: SomeSerious 92, NFL_SiXtH_sEnSe
Nakell “SomeSerious” Powell is the Madden 19 Titans Club Champion. Hailing from Memphis, the 27-year-old has defeated Cerebral Victory amongst other competitors. He’d bring his skills to the Last Chance Qualifiers and didn’t disappoint.
SomeSerious92 was rocking his Marcus Mariota Tennessee Titans jersey on Sunday and came through with the win. He’d enter the second half of the competition with a 13-3 lead over his opponent NGugerty_. SomeSerious didn’t let up in the second half either, ultimately taking a 20-10 victory to claim the first of the two Madden Bowl spots.
In the second matchup, viewers got to see a thrilling comeback. NFL_SiXtH_sEnSe was down 17-6 as the second half got started. Somehow, someway, he’d find a way to take the lead and the victory. NFL_SiXtH_sEnSe emerged with a 30-20 win to claim the final spot for Last Chance Qualifiers at the Madden Bowl 2019.
Kevin “Sixth Sense” Jones is a native of Keokuk, Iowa. The 23-year-old boasts an 84 winning percentage and an MCS rank of No. 38 overall. Along the way to tonight’s final matchups, he defeated Echo Fox Joke and Coik96 during his run.
All of the matchups for the Madden 19 Last Chance Qualifiers appeared on television via ESPN2 and live stream via WatchESPN or Twitch channel. A final matchup also took place between the two Last Chance Qualifiers, NFL_SiXtH_sEnSe and SomeSerious92, in order to determine final seeding and Group Stage placement.
The Madden Bowl will take place from April 25 through April 27 in Redwood City, California. A total of 16 finalists will be there including today’s two Last Chance Qualifiers. Also participating are the top two from the Madden Classic and top two from the Madden Challenge. The top four competitors from Madden Club Championship and top six MCS points earners will also participate. So viewers will see not only today’s two gamers but also stars like Michael Skimbo, Young Kiv, and Chritobin.
