The annual Madden 19 Fan Appreciation event has officially launched. It arrives shortly after the launch of Position Heroes. As of Friday, Madden revealed that there are new Fan Appreciation packs available in the game. In addition, there is a special new 99 overall NAT card for one of the league’s top wide receivers. Best of all, it is something gamers can earn for free. Here’s how to earn the JuJu Smith-Schuster 99 NAT card in Madden’s newest promotion.
Madden 19 Fan Appreciation Packs, JuJu Smith-Schuster card
For those who are simply interested in trying to acquire some great new player cards minus the work, there are brand new packs in the game. These Madden 19 Fan Appreciation packs start at 50,000 Coins or 500 Points each. Gamers can buy a total of 10 of the Madden 19 Fan Appreciation Packs.
The packs contain players ranging from 88-plus OVR up to 98-plus OVR. The probability of the 88-rated player cards is 100% while the probability of pulling cards in the higher ranges starts to go down. It’s just 3.7 percent when it comes to the possibility of pulling a 98-plus card.
In addition to those special new limited-per-person packs, there’s also a special 99 overall NAT card for JuJu Smith-Schuster. The Pittsburgh Steelers’ new star receiver will be one of the focal points for his team’s offense in the coming season. This particular card for Fan Appreciation is a Power Up card, and best of all it can be yours for free if you’re up to the challenge.
How to earn the JuJu Smith-Schuster card
Once you’ve got Madden going, head over to the Ultimate Team screens. From there, navigate to the Play screen and choose “Solo Challenges.” Navigate over to “Fan Appreciation,” which should be among the first options you see. Choosing this will open up a new screen to spotlight the newest event.
This play-to-earn event includes 10 solo challenges. Here’s the complete list in the order you’ll go through them:
- Home Team Advantage (Steelers) – 4,000 Coins
- The Volume to Make Opponents Quake (Seahawks) – 5,000 Coins
- Purple Pride (Ravens) – 6,000 Coins
- A Cheesehead for All (Packers) – 7,000 Coins
- We All We Got, We All We Need (Eagles) – 8,000 Coins
- Spirited Beyond the “Miles” (Broncos) – 9,000 Coins
- They Dem Boys (Cowboys) – 10,000 Coins
- The League’s Got a New Face (Chiefs) – 11,000 Coins
- Who Dat? (Saints) – 12,000 Coins
- The Power of the Gauntlet (Patriots) – 13,000 Coins & JuJu card
Since it’s Madden 19 Fan Appreciation, each of the challenges will involve NFL teams which have some of the most passionate fanbases. They’ll include your Ultimate Team preserving a lead in the game, taking the lead back, or other tasks.
For example, in the first challenge against the Steelers your team is down 10-9 in the third quarter. The Steelers have the ball and you’ve got no timeouts. All of these are set to PRO difficulty and as seen in the list above, the final stop is against the defending Super Bowl champions.
As a reward for completing all of the challenges, gamers earn that free 99 OVR NAT JuJu Smith-Schuster card and also a hefty 85,000 coins along the way! So a bit of grinding will certainly pay off in the coming days.
