Fortnite Adds New Laugh It Up Emote, Grab It Before It Disappears
It seems like every time you rest on your laurels for a bit, Fortnite has a new emote or feature coming to the game. The torrent of new content continues with the introduction of the new “Laugh It Up” emote, which is only available for a short window today. It appears that during the same time dataminers @TwoEpicBuddies found evidence for the bounce pad coming back to the game, there was a new emote added today as well.
The rare emote ended up coming to the game on Sunday night, and it makes your player laugh in a ridiculous manner, moving forward and backward while laughing something like a donkey. It’s supposed to be evocative of someone “shrugging things off,” like taking an L isn’t a big deal, but it also looks somewhat ridiculous, too. This probably isn’t the best Fornite emote we’ve seen out there, in terms of making your character look “cool,” but it’s a funny way to share things with other people. As the official Epic Games’ Fortnite Twitter account stated: “Didn’t land that play? Shrug it off with the new Laugh it Up emote!”

As usual, the emote will only be available for a limited time, so make sure you pick it up in the Item Shop as it disappears at 8 PM ET tonight. It’s possible we’ll see it again in the rotation in the future, but probably a long way off from now. If you really want to make it yours, the only way to be sure it’ll be added to your menagerie of emotes and other customization items is by grabbing it quick.
