FIFA 20 Pre-Order Prices, Dates: What do Standard, Ultimate, and Champions Editions Include?
The new edition of EA Sports’ popular FIFA game was featured on June 8 at the EA Play 2019 event. Not only did fans get to see some exclusive new gameplay footage and learn about VOLTA football, but pre-order details were revealed for what each of the different editions will include. Here are the latest FIFA 20 pre-order details for the Standard, Ultimate, and Champion editions of the upcoming game with prices and dates.
FIFA 20 Pre-Order details: Champions, Ultimate editions
As FIFA 20 gameplay details arrived, so did pre-order information. The top two versions of the FIFA 20 game will arrive several days earlier than the Standard edition does. That means a release date of September 24 for the Champions and Ultimate Editions, for those customers who place a pre-order. Each edition contains a bit of bonus material or content above the regular edition and has a different price.
FIFA 20 Champions Edition ($99.99, order before Aug. 5):
- Untradeable FUT 20 Ones To Watch Player Item
- 3 Days Early Access (Play from September 24th)
- Up To 24 FIFA 20 Ultimate Team Rare Gold Packs (2 Per Week For 12 Weeks)
- Choose one of five mid-version ICON Items for 5 FUT matches
- Special Edition FUT Kits
FIFA 20 Ultimate Edition ($79.99, no order date specified)
- 3 Days Early Access (Play from September 24th)
- Up To 12 FIFA 20 Ultimate Team Rare Gold Packs (1 Per Week For 12 Weeks)
- Choose one of five mid-version ICON Items for 5 FUT matches
- Special Edition FUT Kits
Both versions are available for the Sony PlayStation 4, Microsoft Xbox One, or PC with Origin. Gamers can order the FIFA 20 title through the respective online stores for each of these platforms.
Standard Edition details: Price, release date
Gamers who want to skip the cost of the higher-priced editions should consider getting the Standard Edition. That version of the game arrives on the official release date of September 27, 2019, for PS4, Xbox, and PCs via Origin. It’s available as a FIFA 20 pre-order but won’t arrive any quicker. It also lacks the extra bonuses that make those other editions worth the extra cost.
The FIFA 20 Standard edition sells for $59.99 and includes the following:
- Up to 3 FIFA 20 Ultimate Team Rare Gold Packs (1 Per Week For 3 Weeks)
- Choose one of five mid-version ICON Items for 5 FUT matches
- Special Edition FUT Kits
It’s also worth noting that EA Access subscribers will get early access to play FIFA 20. Based on comments at the EA Play event, that will allow gamers to play FIFA 20 as of September 19, 2017. The other good news is that EA Access will be available for PlayStation gamers for that release.
