NBA 2K19 James Harden 20th Anniversary Packs Bring Galaxy Opal Harden, Yao Ming Cards to MyTeam
As the NBA Finals near their conclusion, the NBA 2K19 MyTeam feature of the popular game continues to add special cards and packs. The latest installment in the MyTeam Store are new NBA 2K19 James Harden 20th Anniversary packs. These not only feature several great cards for the reigning NBA MVP, but also cards for Basketball Hall of Famer Yao Ming, and Dallas Mavericks big man Kristaps Porzingis.
NBA 2K19 James Harden 20th Anniversary packs arrive with top cards
Multiple-time All-Star James Harden led the league in scoring the past NBA season and is amongst the three finalists to win this year’s NBA MVP Award. It would make him the first back-to-back winner since the Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry. While Harden’s Houston Rockets failed to top the Warriors in the Western Conference Finals this postseason, it’s still clear he’s amongst the league’s top stars.
That gives a good reason for the release of NBA 2K19 James Harden 20th Anniversary packs, as seen in the new MyTeam video below.
Galaxy Opal James Harden or Yao Ming cards are the top prizes in these special packs. In addition to these cards, gamers can also acquire the Pink Diamond cards for current Mavs’ big Kristaps Porzingis and former Phoenix Suns point guard Charlie Scott. These packs are available for Virtual Currency or in-game MT at the MyTeam Packs Market.

Packs are available for just over three days and start at 7,500 VC or 10,500 MT for a single pack of five cards. Additionally, gamers can head over to the Auction House to look for specific player cards. However, that top James Harden card will carry an expensive price so be prepared to spend some MT if you really want to add it to your MyTeam. We’ve seen bids around the 200,000 MT level and higher so far for that particular card.
Guaranteed Diamonds or PDs in NBA 2K19 Welcome packs
In addition to those James Harden packs, gamers looking to build up their MyTeam should check out the “Welcome to MyTeam” packs currently available in the store. These packs bring a guaranteed top level card such as a Diamond or Pink Diamond. As of right now, they are only available to add one at a time but can bring some great player cards to the mix with top All-Stars from past and present.
The cards shown above include Pink Diamonds for Giannis Antetokounmpo and Vince Carter as well as Diamonds for Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan. Those aren’t necessarily the best cards in MyTeam for these players, but they are certainly a great start for someone looking to get some major star power on their squad.
Packs are currently available at the MyTeam Market for varying costs, with those Pink Diamond Welcome Packs going for 10,000 Virtual Currency.
