MLB The Show 19 Headliners Packs Now Include Justin Upton, Jim Palmer Cards
Justin Upton and Jim Palmer are now part of the MLB The Show 19 Headliners family! The 13th set of the popular Headliner Pack series is now available for gamers to scoop up. It contains two players that have made a huge impact on the game during their time on the field.
Justin Upton Headliner
Justin Upton has played for five different teams in his MLB career, however, 2019 might be his most frustrating. Upton and the Angels had high hopes on Opening Day 2019 but a foot injury has had Upton on the shelf for most of the 2019 season.
After missing the first 72-games of the season Upton made the best of his first at-bat last Monday against Toronto. Upton powered a 424-foot home run in his debut helping the Angels defeat the Blue Jays by the final of 10-5. Justin Upton has a 95 OVR rating on The Show, putting him into Diamond status.
Jim Palmer Headliner
Like Justin Upton, Jim Palmer carries a 95 OVR rating on The Show, and some gamers think that number could even be a bit higher. Palmer, a Hall of Famer, won the Cy Young Award three times in four seasons and practically owned the American League in the 1970’s.
What is even more incredible is that he led the league in wins three years in a row (1975-77) and finished his 19-year career with an ERA of 2.86. Nowadays, those kinds of numbers would get Palmer a $300 million deal – or more.
