How to earn a 99 OVR rookie items in MUT 19
The details of Madden 19 Rookie Premiere program arrived on EA Madden’s Twitch stream on Monday morning. Gamers get to earn and choose the specific Rookie Premier card they want after completing a set in Madden 19 Ultimate Team. They’ll not only get that player card in MUT 19, but it will carry over into Ultimate Team for the upcoming Madden 20.
To get started, gamers can head into Madden Ultimate Team and choose “Rookie Premiere 2019” in the solo challenges area. There are 10 rookie challenges with the first involving the Green Bay Packers’ Darnell Savage Jr. After completing that challenge, gamers will earn a 92 OVR Savage Jr. item.
There are nine more challenges, each which has a reward of another 92 OVR rookie. After moving through the entire sequence of 10 challenges, gamers will earn a special Rookie Premiere Token.
The main objective is to go through the challenges and build a set consisting of 10 Rookie Premiere Tokens. Gamers are then able to take that set and trade it in for the 99 OVR NAT Rookie Premier card of their choice.
By earning the set and exchanging for that 99 OVR NAT Rookie Premiere it gives a usable player for Madden 19 Ultimate Team. Gamers will get a special rookie card for Madden 20 Ultimate Team, although it will have a lower overall rating. That said, anytime the rookie gets an upgrade during Madden 20 season, that card will get a boost. So it’s certainly something to strive for.
One note is that buying a Madden 19 Rookie Premier card through the Auction House won’t give you the MUT 20 rookie card. You’ll have to have earned your Rookie Premiere by completing a set in Madden 19, so keep that in mind. Nonetheless, it makes for a fun final Madden 19 Ultimate Team program leading into Madden 20.
