If you’re thinking of getting Borderlands 3, you have access to several different options. Of course, there’s the standard edition of the game. However, there’s also the Borderlands 3 Deluxe Edition, the Collector’s Edition, and even the Super Deluxe Edition. (There’s also a Season Pass.) Earlier today, Gearbox offered fans their first look at what’s included with the Deluxe and Super Deluxe versions of the game.
What You’ll Get With the Borderlands 3 Deluxe Bonuses
If you buy the Borderlands 3 Deluxe and Super Deluxe Editions, you’ll get access to the Deluxe Bonus Content Pack which contains a few different cosmetic item packs itself. First up is the Retro Content Pack. This includes a variety of “Retro” Weapon Skins, Vault Hunter Heads and Skins, and an Echo Device Skin. All of these are coloured red, black, and tan. The second pack in the Deluxe Content Pack is the Neon Cosmetic Pack; a very distinctive set of skins all in black and neon green. This pack includes Vault Hunter Heads and Skins, an Echo Device Skin, and a Weapon Trinket.
The third pack that comes with the Deluxe and Super Deluxe Editions is the Gearbox Cosmetic Pack. This pack contains a variety of different grey-and-green Weapon Skins, as well as a Weapon Trinket in the shape of Gearbox’s logo. Finally, players who purchase either of the Deluxe Editions will get the Toy Box Weapons Pack; “These guns and an accompanying grenade might look like they’re made of plastic,” says Gearbox; “but rest assured, they’re still extremely lethal. Best of all, you’ll see unique effects when firing your Girth guns and spraying your Maliwan Hyper Hydrator 5000 weapons, while the water pistol Toy Weapon Trinket lets you clip a gun to your gun, because why not?”
Of course, there will be plenty of other cosmetic and customisation options available to players in Borderlands 3. However, if you want to get these particular ones to use in-game, you’ll need the Deluxe or Super Deluxe versions of Borderlands 3.
