Destiny 2 is all about collecting rare and exotic weapons and armor pieces. At launch, Destiny 2 had like 19 exotic weapons including Graviton Lance, Coldheart, D.A.R.C.I., Riskrunner, Skyburner’s Oath, Tractor Cannon, and the raid exotic – Legend of Acrius. If we take a look at the exotic weapon collection of Destiny 2 now, there are a total of 54 exotic weapons (if I’m counting right) in the game. While some weapons are overpowered other exotics are barely usable under PvP or PvE. One prime example of this is – Sunshot.
Destiny 2 Sunshot Getting Increased Magazine?
Sunshot is probably one of the best looking exotic weapons in Destiny 2. But looks don’t matter when you’re trying to solo a Nightfall or Raid. Sunshot lacks in that part of the game. It has a very high rate of fire with 150 Rounds Per Minute (RPM) but a very low magazine size of 8 rounds.
Majority of the Destiny 2 community has been requesting Bungie for some time now to increase this weapon’s magazine size. And it seems Bungie has finally listened to all of the feedback regarding this exotic hand cannon. Here’s what dmg04 said on Bungie Forums:
“The team has been hard at work on some Sandbox QOL coming in Shadowkeep. One item in particular is Sunshot and its mag size. More details coming when we’re closer to October 1.”
This is really fantastic news about this weapon since it has a really cool look to it and the sound of this weapon is also amazing. Destiny 2 Shadowkeep is just a month away. It brings many new features to the table with Finishing Moves, Armor 2.0, a brand-new raid, and 2 new Strikes (one on Io and one on the Moon).
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep will be hitting PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, on October 1, 2019, and later in November on Google Stadia.
